• Do the Platinum Electric Marine heaters come with a controller? No, the controllers can be purchased as an additional accessory.

• Can I install the Platinum Electric heater myself? No, the heater must be installed by a licensed technician.

• What is radiant heat? Radiant heat works like the sun. Instead of heating the air around you, it heats people and objects. This makes radiant heat a more effective outdoor heating source, as it is less likely to be affected by the wind.

• Are the heaters waterproof? Our Platinum Electric Marine heaters are made from premium 314 stainless steel and IPX5 rated, and therefore water-resistant (low-pressure water jets). However, Bromic does recommend that they are best mounted under cover and not directly exposed to rain and salt mist to ensure they maintain their aesthetic appeal.

• What mounting options are available? The heaters can be either wall-mounted, pole mounted or recessed into the ceiling. Each heater is supplied with an 8" stainless steel pole. Recessing kits and longer poles for high ceilings can be ordered separately.
